You don't have to change your phone number or put the Janine number on your van. Divert your existing mobile or landline to Janine only when you don't answer, or only when you're on another call. Callers ring the number they've always rung; Janine answers on ring five.

These are the GSM standard codes and work on EE, O2, Vodafone, Three, giffgaff, Tesco Mobile, Sky Mobile, Lebara, iD, VOXI, SMARTY and Lyca. To change the no-answer delay: *61*07360266999**20# (5, 10, 15, 20, 25 or 30 seconds).
Or use the menu: iPhone → Settings → Phone → Call Forwarding (iOS only offers "forward all"; for no-answer use the code above). Android → Phone app → ⋮ → Settings → Calls → Call forwarding → "When unanswered" → enter the Janine number.
Check it worked: ring your own mobile from another phone and let it ring out. Janine should answer.
Ask your provider to add "Call Divert on No Reply" (BT calls it Call Diversion; it's usually free or about £3/month). Then from the landline: *61*07360266999# to set, #61# to cancel. Some providers use *21* for divert-all only; ring them and say "divert on no reply to a mobile number".
Add the Janine number as the "no answer" or "overflow" destination on the hunt group or queue, with a 20-second timeout. Janine appears to callers as the same business.
Their call rings your phone as normal. If you don't pick up, there's a one-second click and Janine answers: "Hi, Northside Plumbing and Heating, Janine speaking, how can I help?" No "please hold", no menu. The caller's own number is passed through, so Janine still texts them the confirmation and you still get the caller ID in your alert.
Most customers run overflow during the day (*61*) and switch to divert-all (*21*) at 6pm or on holiday. Two codes, two seconds. Janine's availability by text ("nothing else today") controls what she books either way.
Diverted minutes are charged by your mobile provider at your plan's rate for calls to UK mobiles (free on most plans). Janine's minutes are counted on your Ring Janine plan (300 included on Trades).
